“If you have to put someone on a pedestal, put teachers. They are society’s heroes” Teachers’ Day is celebrated every year on 5th September to commemorate the birthday of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan was not only the second president of independent India but also a great teacher.The Loknete Ramsheth Thakur English Medium School and Jr College arranged variety of entertainment programs and competitions in which all teachers participated with great sprite .The function was stared with traditional way by gralanding and lighting lamp to Shree Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan followed by the inauguration of cooking competitions. More than 25 teachers participated in competitions with delicious delicacies. The chef’s guests were inovatedly welcomed by language teachers with praising words. After it group of teachers performed spectacular dances and songs which they gave more leisure to the function. At the end, all winners of competitions were announced and rewarded .
